What is Not Part of This Service
- Personal expenses:
Costs for shopping, souvenirs, and personal activities are not included. - Trip insurance:
Travel insurance options are offered to protect trip investments. If insurance is declined or purchased independently, a waiver acknowledging this choice is required. - Visa/passport processing:
Guidance is provided; however, securing travel documents remains the traveler’s responsibility - Medical coverage & vaccinations:
Recommendations may be offered, but any required health measures are at the client’s discretion. - On-the-ground expenses:
Transportation and transfers included in the itinerary are pre-arranged and pre-paid when possible. Any additional transportation expenses, (taxis, ride-shares, etc.) are the client’s responsibility at the time of service. Meals, baggage fees, porterage, and lost/delayed luggage handling are also not included unless specified. - Changes outside of agency control:
While alternative solutions will be offered when needed, costs related to weather delays, cancellations, missed flights, additional accommodations, or failure to follow provided guidance remain the traveler’s responsibility.
How it Works
- Step 1: Discovery & Consultation:
A consultation is scheduled to review travel style, must-haves, and destination goals to begin designing a journey tailored exclusively to the client. - Step 2: Sign & Secure Your Spot:
Following the consultation, the Collaboration Agreement is reviewed, signed, and returned to formalize the partnership. - Step 3: Retainer Fee & Confirmation:
The retainer fee invoice is submitted to officially begin itinerary design. - Step 4: Custom Itinerary Design:
A detailed itinerary is crafted, including carefully selected accommodations, excursions, and travel logistics, ensuring a seamless and enriching experience. - Step 5: Effortless Booking & Coordination:
All reservations are secured, from flights and hotels to cruises and curated activities, with every detail flawlessly managed to avoid stress or surprises. - Step 6: Pre-Trip Support & On-the-Go Assistance:
Prior to departure, clients receive all required travel documents, expert tips, and itinerary details. Support remains available throughout travel should assistance be needed.
Pricing
- The Signature Concierge Experience is offered with a retainer fee starting at $250. The final retainer amount is determined based on the complexity, scope, and customization level of the trip.
- This fee covers planning, research, itinerary design, and professional services provided by Scenic Locations Leisure Travel. Travel costs such as flights, hotels, cruises, tours, and other components are quoted and billed separately.
- For highly customized trips involving fully independent arrangements, private tours, or net-rate itineraries, additional service fees may apply depending on the specific trip structure and vendor agreements. These will be discussed in advance during the consultation process.
- Pricing is subject to change; all fees will be clearly outlined prior to beginning work.
- Retainers are non-negotiable, non-refundable, and non-transferable.
