What kinds of travel do you plan?
Scenic Locations Leisure Travel specializes in personalized leisure travel, including cruises, all-inclusive resorts, island getaways, family adventures, couples travel, and immersive multi-stop itineraries. Whether it’s a milestone celebration, a romantic getaway, a wellness retreat, or a spontaneous escape, every trip is designed around the traveler’s style and priorities.
What types of trips do you specialize in?
Scenic Locations Leisure Travel specializes in coastal and island escapes, cruises, all-inclusive resorts, luxury vacations, and immersive group travel experiences for individuals, couples, families, and small groups.
Do you only book all-inclusive resorts and cruises?
Not at all. While all-inclusive resorts and cruises are popular due to their value and convenience, Scenic Locations Leisure Travel also plans independent travel (flights, hotels, transfers, activities, etc.), guided tours, multi-city itineraries, and celebration travel. The team will always recommend what fits the vision and priorities for the trip, not just a default travel style.
Do you offer research-only services?
Yes. The Insider Insights Experience is designed for travelers who want professional guidance and curated recommendations but prefer to book on their own. This service is offered at a flat rate and includes a summary of vetted options tailored to your needs.
Do you plan group trips or retreats?
Yes. Group trips, retreats, and celebration travel are a specialty. Whether it’s a milestone birthday, wellness retreat, or multi-family cruise, Scenic Locations Leisure Travel offers tailored group planning services based on the needs of the group and group leader.
Why should I use a travel advisor instead of booking myself?
Scenic Locations Leisure Travel brings destination expertise, insider access, and personal support to every trip. Clients have a trusted partner before, during, and after travel; especially when plans change or questions arise.
What makes Scenic Locations Leisure Travel different from other agencies?
This isn’t a volume-based travel agency. The planning approach is deeply personalized, rooted in client relationships, and focused on designing trips with flexibility, intention, and care.
Why do you offer different levels of service?
Not every traveler needs full-service planning. The agency offers flexible options that match the level of support clients want; ranging from full-service end-to-end Signature Concierge planning to research-focused or a la carte booking services.
Does Scenic Locations Leisure Travel offer group travel packages?
Yes! The agency regularly supports families, friend groups, and retreat leaders by coordinating custom travel logistics that scale to meet a group’s needs.
Can you book my entire trip if I want full service?
Absolutely! Signature Concierge planning covers everything from flights and hotels to tours, insurance, and concierge support; all delivered with personal care before, during, and after travel.
Do you recommend travel insurance?
Always! Clients will receive quotes from trusted partners or support reviewing outside policies to ensure adequate coverage.
Do book flights?
Yes. Flight bookings are included as part of the Signature Concierge Experience and are also available as a standalone service. A booking fee applies for standalone flights, which includes full service and support. That means if your flight is delayed or canceled, a member of the team will handle the rebooking process on your behalf; no waiting on hold or navigating airline policies alone.
Do you service flights I booked myself?
It depends. If you’ve booked other components of your trip through Scenic Locations Leisure Travel—such as a cruise or resort stay—and choose to book flights separately (e.g., using airline points, employee discounts, or corporate travel benefits), flight monitoring and support can be included with a higher-tier retainer.
In order to provide this support, the team must receive full and accurate flight details in advance, including airline, flight number, confirmation number, and how the booking was made.
However, if flights are the only service booked and you’re simply looking for someone to oversee your air travel, this is not a service offered. Scenic Locations Leisure Travel focuses on full-trip experiences, and third-party air support is only available in conjunction with other planned travel.
Can I book just a hotel or a cruise?
Yes. Scenic Locations offers a la carte options through the “Your Trip, Your Way” model for travelers who already know what they want.
How far in advance should I start planning?
Ideally 6-12 months ahead, especially for groups, milestone trips, or high-demand destinations and times of year. Limited support may be available for last-minute requests.
What happens if something goes wrong while I’m traveling?
Clients have access to proactive and reactive support. Whether it’s a delay, cancellation, or unexpected issue, the agency is available to help clients regroup and keep things on track.
Retainers, Payments, and Policies
Do you charge planning fees?
Yes. Scenic Locations Leisure Travel charges a professional planning retainer for any service that involves research, design, or coordination prior to booking. This ensures the team is compensated for their time and expertise, even if travel plans change or aren’t finalized. Fees vary based on the level of service and complexity of the trip.
Are planning retainers refundable?
No. Planning retainers are non-refundable and non-transferrable. They cover the time, insight, and expertise invested in your trip; regardless of whether you decide to move forward with the booking.
What’s your refund or cancellation policy?
All cancellation policies are clearly outlined in the Client Collaboration Agreement. Cancellation penalties for booked travel components vary by supplier, and these details are communicated clearly before payment is collected.
Do you offer payment plans?
Yes! Most travel components allow for a deposit followed by installment payments or a final balance due at a later date. In addition, we have a third-party system that allows clients to break their payments into installments for easier budgeting (terms and eligibility will be discussed during planning). How much do your travel planning services cost?
Costs vary based on the level of service selected. Scenic Locations Leisure Travel offers several planning models; from flat-rate research support to full-service, end-to-end trip management. Pricing reflects the complexity and support required.
Do you provide deals or match quotes from other agencies?
No. Scenic Locations Leisure Travel does not match pricing from other agencies or travel websites. The focus is on curating the right experience, not chasing the lowest cost. The team may offer exclusive perks or upgrades through supplier relationships, but pricing reflects the value and personalization of the service provided.
Is my trip’s price guaranteed once quoted?
No. Travel prices are dynamic and subject to change until a deposit or payment is submitted. Scenic Locations Leisure Travel provides real-time quotes, and availability is not confirmed until funds are processed.
Are additional payments made to Scenic Locations Leisure Travel after planning begins?
It depends. In most cases, once the trip proposal is approved, payments are made directly to the suppliers involved in the trip. Each payment is authorized in advance, and clients are informed who will be processing each charge. In some cases, such as with international Destination Management Companies (DMCs) that operate on a net pricing model, Scenic Locations Leisure Travel will collect a final service fee of 12-15% of the booking value as part of the management and administration process. This final service fee will be noted in the proposal and disclosed in advance.

Yes. Firsthand knowledge is a core value at Scenic Locations Leisure Travel. Stacia and her team regularly travel to visit hotels, cruise ships, and destinations in person. Not only to stay current, but to better match clients with the right experience. When firsthand experience isn’t available, trusted supplier partners are consulted to ensure accuracy and quality.
What destinations are you most experienced with?
Scenic Locations Leisure Travel has extensive experience in Caribbean travel, coastal and island destinations, cruises (both ocean and river), and destinations such as Ireland, Mexico, Maldives, and the Mediterranean. If a destination falls outside the team’s firsthand experience, trusted partners and verified suppliers are consulted to ensure every detail is accurate and well-managed.
Are you certified or specialized in any areas?
Yes. Stacia, the founder of Scenic Locations Leisure Travel, holds professional designations including Certified Travel Associate (CTA) and Leisure Travel Specialist through Travel Leaders Network. In addition, the team has completed specialist training for a variety of destinations, cruise lines, and resort brands to ensure well-informed planning. Do you receive perks or upgrades through your agency?
Yes, Scenic Locations Leisure Travel is affiliated with a consortia and a host agency and has access to preferred partner programs, exclusive amenities, and upgrades with many suppliers. While upgrades are never guaranteed, clients often benefit from added value thanks to these relationships.

What is the typical client journey like?
The planning process begins with a personal consultation; via Zoom, phone, or in person (if local), followed by a vision-first planning approach. Stacia and her team craft a custom travel plan, refine options, confirm reservations, and provide full support through travel and beyond.
How will I receive my travel documents?
Clients receive a digital itinerary that includes travel documents, confirmation numbers, schedules, contacts, and helpful tips. Printed documents or travel gives may also be mailed depending on the trip and preferences.
What happens after I book?
Support continues through every step of the journey. Once booking are confirmed, clients receive a detailed digital itinerary that includes all final confirmations, contacts, and important travel notes. Updates or reminders are sent as travel approaches, and the team remains available to answer questions, assist with changes, or troubleshoot if issues arise before, during, or after the trip.
What are your communication expectations?
Scenic Locations Leisure Travel operates as a collaborative partner in the planning process. Timely communication is essential, especially during booking phases when prices and availability can change rapidly. If multiple attempts are made to reach a client and no response is received, the team may be unable to proceed until that information is provided. The more responsive and engaged a client is, the more effectively the team can support the trip. Delays in client communication may result in missed opportunities or added complications.
What are your communication expectations during travel?
Scenic Locations Leisure Travel is typically notified of disruptions through itinerary tracking tools, but it’s still important to communicate directly if something unexpected occurs. The more information shared, the faster the team can step in to help. Emergency contacts for each component are always included in the final itinerary overview provided before departure.
Can I contact you during my trip if something goes wrong?
Yes. Scenic Locations Leisure Travel provides support before, during, and after travel. If you’re actively traveling and something goes wrong, reach out via phone, text, or WhatsApp; the team knows you wouldn’t call unless it’s important. If something goes wrong while you’re on the road, reach out as soon as possible so the team can assist or troubleshoot. You’ll always know who to contact and how, and support resources are outlined in your itinerary.
Can I work with you if I’m not local?
Absolutely. Scenic Locations Leisure Travel works with clients across the U.S. and beyond. Most consultations and planning steps are completed virtually, making the process seamless no matter where you’re located.
How do I schedule a call or consultation?

Do you work via email or other messaging platforms?
Yes. Email is the preferred method of communication throughout the planning process. Texting is available for confirmed clients when needed. Scenic Locations Leisure Travel does not conduct business through Facebook Messenger, Instagram DMs, or other social media messaging platforms, as those channels are not monitored for service or support needs.
Do you have office hours?
Yes. Office hours, response times, and communication procedures are clearly outlined in the Client Collaboration Agreement. Clients are encouraged to review this document before planning begins to understand how best to stay connected during the process.
